Pre Press

Lawton Printing offers in-house direct to plate services including graphic design, typesetting, scanning and proofing. We accept Macintosh and PC based files on CD, Web transfers or e-mail.

Color separations are done on an Epson scanner which will scan a reflective or transparency with a maximum original size of 11.5 inches X 17.5 inches.

Plates are output on a Creo Trendsetter Platemaker from a Rampage PrePress System at a resolution of 2400 dpi. The maximum plate size is 30 inches x 40 inches.

Pressroom

• 6 color (Heidelberg 28 inches X 40 inches) plus aqueous coater sheetfed press equipped with an infrared dryer. Perfecting available for up to 2 over 4 colors on uncoated and matte coated papers (Reduces printing time considerably). Maximum image area is 26.75 inches X 39.75 inches. • HP Indigo Press 5000 12.5 X 18.5 sheetfed. Maximum image area is 12.25 X 17.375.

• 2 color Heidelberg 20 1/2 inches X 29 1/8 inches sheetfed press. Maximum image area is 19 1/2 inches X 28 inches.
• 1 color Heidelberg 20 1/2 inches X 28 3/8 inches sheetfed press. Maximum image area is 19 1/2 inches X 28 inches.
• 1 color Heidelberg 10 inches X 15 inches sheetfed press. Maximum image area is 9 inches X 13.5 inches
• Kluge foil/emboss/diecutting press. Maximum die size is 20 inches X 14 inches.
• Miller diecutting press. Maximum sheet size is 28 inches X 40 inches.
• Heidelberg letter press for consecutive numbering.
